Table Mountain Aerial Cableway

You can enjoy beautiful views on the way up, explore the mountain and even have a meal. There is even a WiFi lounge for you to upload your Social Media snaps or even catch up on work in the workspace! It’s one of the most unique workspaces in the world. Before you go, make sure to book online to avoid the queues and check the weather before planning. It won’t be open if it’s windy! Make sure to take a jacket too as weather can change suddenly!

 The Constantia Valley

In The Constantia Valley there nine wine estates spread over 15 km. Every single one is worth visiting! Just because it’s wine tasting, doesn’t mean it isn’t suitable for the family – there are many different activities.

If you’re a foodie, head to Buitenverwachting as it has a coffee roastery on site – roasting coffee, fine wine and treats galore!

If you’re more of an active holiday-er, Constantia Uitsig has a bike track suitable for all ages – plus there’s wine too ;).

Or if you’re both, head to Silvermist Estate. It’s stunningly beautiful and has one of South Africa’s top three restaurants. On site is an adrenaline junkies dream – a zipline course! Enjoy fine wine and the thrill of flying through the air!

The architecture at these estates ranges from ultra modern to classic dutch, but they all have attractions other than fine wine!

Two Oceans Aquarium

The Two Oceans Aquarium is an amazing experience. There are a variety of different exhibitions and activities, and the aquariums are huge! Take a look through a microscope at marine life on a tiny level and then head to the touch pool to feel shells, plants and animals in your own hand. Whether it’s a family holiday or a romantic holiday, this is definitely a place to visit!

V and A Waterfront

If you love shopping, V and A Waterfront is for you! There are over four hundred and fifty different retail outlets to help with retail therapy, as well as a selection of activites for the whole family. From food markets and art galleries to helicopter and boat trips – they have it all. There are regularly buskers around the Waterfront to entertain whilst you explore.

Take A Drive And Explore!

If you love the ocean, you will love the Overberg towns of Gansbaai, Stanford and Hermanus. Known as the Cape Whale Coast, you experience land and boat based whale watching, fall in love with sharks in a shark cage dive or even meet the seals, penguins and sea birds. The towns are only a two hour drive from Cape Town, perfect for a day trip.
