Hillary Clinton Blames Epidemic of “Fake News” for Losing Election

Social Media Blasted

Sore loser Hillary Clinton blasted social media on Thursday, blaming it for her losing the election against Donald Trump, despite the massive support she received from the mainstream media. An epidemic of fake news and false propaganda delivered by internet outlets were the main culprits for her failure to defeat The Donald, according to a speech delivered by Hillary Clinton today on Capitol Hill.

The “fake news” meme circulated by the Democrats and their cheerleaders in the “liberal” mainstream media is still alive and kicking apparently. Basically, according to the progressive mindset, any idea that contradicts the establishment’s narrative is a threat to America, hence the “fake news” moniker which started as a black list concocted by an eccentric assistant professor. Let’s quote Secretary Clinton herself:

“The epidemic of malicious fake news and false propaganda that flooded social media over the past year — it’s now clear the so-called fake news can have real-world consequences,”

What Hillary Clinton fails to mention or to understand is that social media didn’t win the election for Donald Trump, it was the free flow of information that did it. Social media was just free speech in its purest form, but if your entire narrative is built on lies, free speech/information is your Nemesis.

President Obama was quoted recently as saying that we need a curating function in order to handle the “Wild West”-like flow of information over the internet, meaning that the free market cannot correct by itself this horrible problem and it’s the duty of Big Brother to step in and save us from ourselves.

Ultimately, Barack and Hillary are calling for the abolition of free speech and citizen journalism, suggesting that we should have a neatly censored state run media, just like Canada and the UK. In my opinion, the scariest thing about state-run propaganda is that it actually works pretty well.

“Lives are at risk — lives of ordinary people just trying to go about their days, to do their jobs, contribute to their communities.”

“It’s a danger that must be addressed and addressed quickly,”

said Hillary, calling for Congress to step up to the plate and take urgent legislative action in order to mitigate the Fake News apocalypse.  Also, she asked the tech moguls from Silicon Valley (read Google, Twitter and Facebook who are already censoring massively the so called hate speech both in US and the EU) to find a way to block “false propaganda” from entering innocent readers news feeds.
