Even if the Islamic State is almost a thing of the past in places like Syria and Iraq, their public relations agency Al-Hayat Media Center just released a new video which calls on, let me quote, “brothers in Europe, America, Russia, Australia and elsewhere” to “kill them all” as “it is now time to rise.”
The video is filled with inspirational chants in English language and it shows gruesome scenes of ISIS related terrorist attacks in the Western world, including the ISIS pledge video recorded by Berlin Christmas market terrorist Anis Amri and the March 2017 Westminster Bridge attack, all seasoned with ISIS beheadings in Syria and battlefield scenes. The video was produced by ISIS’ official media center and widely distributed on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, not to mention YouTube, and also on file sharing sites. Before the chanting (nasheed) stars, the narrator says:
“Your brothers in your lands have absolved themselves of blame, so leap onto their tracks and take an example from their actions and know that jannah [paradise] is beneath the shadows of swords. Go answer the call, don’t spare none, kill them all, it is now time to rise, slit their throats, watch them die. The Islamic State stands, and it stands and demands, that you worship the one, whom besides there is none. We’re the grandsons of men, who gave all that they can, to rule all of the lands, with the law of Islam. Holding up the flag high, and seeking paradise, o my brothers stay strong, victory won’t be long. Together we will stand up, once filled with iman [faith], men who answered the call, terrorizing the world.”
The video proudly shows scenes from recent Islamic terrorist attacks, like the 2015 San Bernardino attack in the United States, the Hyper Cacher kosher supermarket siege in France which took place in the same year and the 2016 Bastille Day massacre in Nice, France, where 80+ people were killed by an ISIS linked terrorist using a truck. The nasheed continues:
Through our blood comes success, and we’ll give it our best, to destroy the kuffar [disbelievers], we will slaughter them all. So my brothers erupt, let the world know we’re up, by the will of Allah, we will conquer the world.
Interestingly enough, the latest ISIS propaganda video contains a fleeting scene from last October’s mass shooting, the Mandalay Bay massacre in Las Vegas. ISIS continues to claim the Mandalay Bay shooting, even though officials report they could not link Paddock “to any specific ideology” and “nothing was found to indicate motive on the part of Paddock or that he acted with anyone else.”
